House of Lashes: Falsies Can Be Fun

Press Sample: Product given by the Company for testing and reviewing purposes.

As you know I have been experimenting with false lashes and I'm kind of getting the hang of it.
I still struggle here and there but when I finally achieve putting them on, it totally transforms my makeup look a couple of notches up.

Wearing false lashes is not for everyone and it's really not for me because I do have long full lashes all ready thanks to good genes but they sure are fun to spice up a look.

Once glueing them in place is fast and easy, you're going to want to experiment with them more and more.

I was so happy when House Of Lashes contacted me to review their lashes.

House of Lashes is big with not only pro Makeup Artists but also With Celebrity A-listers.

They sent over 5 pairs of their popular ones :
Au Naturale
Pixie Luxe
Siren
Iconic and Temptress
to little ol me and two tubes of lash glue in black and white which smelled really nice.

The black glue which in the bottle is green, becomes black when it dries.
The smell is not an ordinary glue smell, it's fragrance is that of fresh mint, too bad the white one just smelled like glue and it starts white then dries torqouise then clear.

But regardless, the House of Lashes glues are waterproof and safe for sensitive eyes.
The glue lasted all day and comes off with makeup remover. It's really good and strong stuff!

In this post, I will also show you pictures of me wearing the house of lashes and how you can see the eye transformations at first glance.

Here I am wearing "Au Naturale" and I liked how natural and beautiful these looked.
I didn't need to trim them either, they fit just right.

In this pic, I'm wearing Temptress.
These were a bit big and dramatic for me, although they did photograph nicely but I did have to trim them to fit my eye shape.
I did feel weird with these on so I definitely prefer the Au Naturale ones but if you definately want to spice up your look Temptress can help you achieve that.

In this pic, I'm wearing the lashes in Siren.
These are really beautiful. The Siren lashes are more lengthening like Temptress but I did not need to trim these to fit my eyeshape.
I felt like my eyes opened up more with these and gave them a doll like effect. I was very pleased with the Siren lashes.

The house of lashes in pixie luxe were a bit too dramatic for me. They were big also and I had to trim them twice. I did notice while wearing these I could feel them on and It felt a little weird.
Pixie luxe is definitely good for special occasions and not an everyday look in my opinion. What I liked is how they photographed and made my eyes look glamorous even without wearing eyeliner or eyeshadow. The band is thick and black so it acted as an eyeliner for my eyes which was cool. Here are some pictures of me wearing these lashes.

These lashes in Iconic, will definitely make a statement! They are big, lengthy and flirty beautiful lashes. My eyes are small so I needed to trim them and I think I will need to trim even more because of their Lengthiness. They really don't call out for that natural look because of my eye shape. They definitely will look good for a costume party or play or even on Dancing with the Stars because of their flair but I wouldn't wear these for a casual every day look.
Here are my pictures wearing the house of lashes in Iconic.
I recommend you trim these if you have small shaped eyes like mine.

Well, that's my post on the House Of Lashes. It was fun creating these looks with these cool lashes.
Overall, I prefer natural looking lashes that are not so lengthy but if I ever want to change into a dramatic look, I have the proper lashes now.
